I hate that it had to come to this to fix the LF issues, but the Stros will be a better team going forward. I wonder if Bregs can play some 1B? If a one armed Bags could do it you would think at some point Bregs would be able to do it.
Dodgers 8-1 bottom 5 That game is over. Seattle is going to be .500 on the season. This will likely be their 11th game in their last 16 in which they've scored 3 runs or fewer. And if that's the case, they will be 0-11 in such contests. The Astros have nothing on the Mariners ineptitude to score runs.
Cal Raeligh has had 3 passed balls already which put a Dodgers player all on third base. All 3 of them ended up scoring. Now Logan Gilbert is getting lit up.
bases clearing double for the doyers. (astros, that's how you score runs with bases loaded. ) all runs happened with 2 outs.
The Mariners are straight up broken right now. There’s people on here that always stupidly claim it looks the Astros don’t care, have low energy, etc. after certain games…it looks like the Mariners have actually quit. Servais bringing in Munoz last night in the 7th inning just reeked of desperation.
I'm just glad today's game for us can be flushed down the toilet knowing our lead stays the same going into tomorrow.
arozarena looks defeated playing for the mariners. hella lazy trying to get to the ball allowing a triple.
He got traded to a dumpster fire so can't blame him. Knew he checked out when he whiffed on a flyball and then struck out 5 times in the same game.
What would a "good" manager have done better? - Altuve is likely winded - Abreu needs rest - Singleton PH'd for a RHP (I think) - Bregman might never play defense again this year - Yordan is non-slug at MMP - Caratini and Diaz started - Cabbage PH'd for Chas (yeah they have sucked, but at least it was RHP, I think)
