    Funny thing is

    That "Lone wolf video operator" now works for the Dodgers after being recommended by Betts and J.D. who had their best ever seasons.

    Betts:
    2018: 185 wRC+ / 1.079 OPS
    2nd best Boston season 2016: 136 / .897
    2023 with "video guy": 166 / .995

    2018 and 2023 ( w/ video guy) are his 2 best seasons of his career.

    Martinez is also having a resurgence season in 2023 and had his best ever season in 2018, but the gains are small.

    I wonder if he's cleared to play and doing his Dusty Baker one extra day of rest routine, or if he's still not ready to go and that "one extra day of rest" routine is still upcoming?

    Abreu was dragging this team down all season (except for those 3 weeks) and I’m afraid that it’s gonna happen again. Hopefully, he is a different player after the rest.

    I gotta say my eyes first saw the words Astros, announced, and reinstated before I saw who. It was a let down when it wasn't Brantley.
