    I must say that no matter who does it, I've always hated when guys start walking to first before waiting for the ump to call a ball or strike on a close pitch. Getting annoyed at the ump when they call it a strike just makes it even worse.

    No earthly idea. It was blatant and everyone in the stadium and watching on tv saw it except the umpire closest to the play.
