I thought it was actually a solid start. I get what the #'s look like, but he was absolutely cruising through 5. No excuse for the #'s, but I think it shows progress--and if he can pitch generally like this every time out, I'd be happy overall. (He can improve on what happened there at the end)
Why the **** does hinch keep using hoyt in close games? The guy should be in AAA, not on the ****ing astros.
2nd game this series where execution in high leverage situations is the difference. Can't believe they're putting price back out there.
He pitched decently, at best... which means "not good". His ERA this game is 8+. He pitched well at times, but overall, he wasn't good.
well he at least 'did it.' Now we are starting the inning down 2 instead of 3. Lets go lets go! Edit: * we haven't even gotten to the 7th inning yet. Astros just getting warmed up!
