A line drive right at you is a really tough ball to judge, but there's no excuse for a MLB outfielder to not make that play.

Move Tucker to 1B and grab an OF since more of those seem to be available

His 3 errors in 3 games at 1B in AAA are certainly reassuring.

Well, they have already said Tucker isn't going to be an option at 1B. As "easy" as it seems to a lot of people, you do have to have some skill to play 1B and maybe Tucker just doesn't seem to have it

I'm guessing Gattis has no first base skills either?

DH is in Tucker's future. He's a liability in the field.

Well he will have balls coming right at him at first so you could be right.

That's the problem with only carrying 4 OFers, kills your flexibility in the late innings.

umm, ok I suppose anything that you can think of or write is possible, however small the chances. In this case, yes, I was surprised to see a professional baseball player with 3 career games at a relatively lower-stress position (out of the choices) with 3 errors.

He played there a few games with the Braves, but have no idea how he did

And best to keep him off his legs with his injury history

Having said that, if he can play over there

Wouldn't mind him at 1B and Tucker at DH for a week until we can trade for a 1B
