They spent a lot more cash on the three pitchers we will face But we have the pitching advantage in all three games
They spent a lot more cash on JUST porcello. We really need to take this series, especially after LAA's hot streak.

It's not about giving young guys opportunities anymore I would guess that they want to give Carter one more week of starts to see if he can catch fire. Carter has been terrible, but has a record of putting up quality numbers in the past. Singleton has been worse than Carter, and has NEVER been good at the big league level. Not saying Singleton will never be a good big league hitter, just saying he hasn't shown it and now isn't the time to let him "develop" Luhnow has even talked about 1B lately, Carter probably has a week here to do something or be relegated to pinch hit duties
Yep, without a doubt....I think Carter is facing a week of get it done now, or he knows he will either face a very reduced role, or be moved.

That makes sense. I just think at this point Carter is who he is, and he's shown no signs of capturing that second half magic again. I hope they really do intend to make it one more week, and it better be an all or nothing type deal as far as his performance go. Don't want to see them settle for mediocrity from him. Don't be badmouthing Singleton like that else you'll incur the wrath of Cangreogijoisdjio
Yea and Luhnow has said publically that he considers 1B a problem spot, so it time to poop or get off the pooper for Carter Could care less about what cangre has to say, he builds up players and turns on them constantly, he is a consistent fan of himself and that's about it
If memory serves me right, then they swept us at their park recently and that was a God-awful series for us. Then, they got destroyed in LA. We need to destroy them. No mercy! Mercy is for the weak! Nobody...and I mean nobody...comes into our house and kicks us around!
WWW cut carter for 2+ HRs in the series...just because trades are coming around, and he's going to try his best to make us think twice. Just to f with us
