god bless america isn't the national anthem... why do people salute during the song?

    and

why is it broadcast in the 7th, but the national anthem isn't shown before the game?

My brother bet three guys on his trade floor (all Sox fans) that the Stros would win the series. I think he's getting free lunch, free breakfast, and free Starbucks runs during the week AFTER 4th of July.

    nice job stros.

Sadly, these are usually the same monkeys who are chatting up a storm during our actual national anthem.

Yeah, Sox fans, go home to your Houston metropolitan area homes! And take your World Series rings with you, ya little big winning losers up down left right B A select start!

Great series. It's always fun to watch a win/win situation. I don't think I went awww one time this weekend. It was a series of yeahs!

I wish I could've made it out for a game, unlike most of my family who cross dressed their paraphernalia all weekend.

Woohoo. Astros are one of the hottest teams in the NL. Unfortunately after interleague play that isn't saying much. :(

They won series from the 2 teams with the best record in baseball. That is saying plenty.

Something that started in the aftermath of 9/11 back in 2001. It wasn't disingenuous at all at the time.

Check the bottom of this page out.

I have to admit I'm stunned the Astros took 2 of 3 from the 'Sox. Happy, mind you, just astonished.

Strange, halfway through the year, that our "stoppers" seem to be Wandy and Moeller.

Man... Imagine how screwed this team would have been if Moehler hadn't come out of nowhere. I don't think anybody would have believed that he's been as good as he's been if you asked them before the year. A 3.82 ERA after 10 starts? The only starter in the rotation with a winning record? You would have been laughed at by most fans.

Moehler definitely deserves tons of respect.
