Rangers tomorrow. Pretty terrible time for the entire team to be in a dry spell. Hopefully it's just a home/road thing. Maybe they're just too comfortable for their own good sleeping in their own beds and with their families and such so they're not as locked in.
And that all happened right after they won more games in a row at home than they have in over 20 years? They’ll get hot again (both at home and on the road)… but probably can’t gain that many more games over .500 due to the awful start mostly due to poor pitching (the one thing they did improve at the deadline… and the one thing that still can only get better if anybody else comes back from the injured list).
It’s ok to look at the silver lining but we’re in august now and we gotta freakin win some games. Offense needs to wake up fast.
Plenty on this board thought the season was over April thru June. Here we are in August --- 1 game behind 1st place. If Tucker (and to a lesser extent, JV and/or Garcia) doesn't return by September, the season is over. Abreu's level of suckage was probably equivalent to 3 injuries to the rotation -- but we have 6.
Welp not looking good at all. Just hope this was a 2 week slump before a 3 month run. Just can’t rely on the injured to come back and be healthy at this point. Hell when is anybody on the IL coming back?
This year is such a roller coaster of emotions, this weekend sucked, the bats went ice cold. You cant load the bases in the first with no outs and come away with nothing.................Spaghetti has been doing well yet we cant give him run support. Let's get back on track and put the Rangers farther in the rear view
