    Maldy being here would be a reason JV would waive his no trade clause. He wouldn't want to pitch to a rookie. JV = more Maldy starts at catcher.

    Playing Diaz at catcher only 1 time through the rotation is criminal.

    Don't tell JV that. Put Maldy as player to be named later... then name him after JV signs off.

    Or, keep Maldy and play him only in JV starts

    The Fox announcers are such chatter boxes I had to turn off the sound. They talk constantly and not necessarily about the game.
