Bottom of that 9th inning is what it takes to win championships. Yordan and Correa busting ass down the line… tuck with a productive out.

And McCormick and Castro having great at bats. It’s very easy to go up there over aggressive and pound one of those sinkers into the ground for a double play…. Chas has had some of the better at bats of the season. Very pleased with the fight that was displayed after being no hit for 5 innings

umm that was an automatic the way Castro had been hitting in the 9th. Castro alone put this team in position to win 6 games. Are we going to give him credit for being able to open his mouth and put in a toothpick too?

I was a bit surprised he didn't pinch hit Castro for Chas.

That means he had a really bad outing or two in his last 7 games.

Look at the game logs between the dates I mention and you can see the individual games.

Overall Maton has not been a good reliever for the Astros. Some of it is luck / small sample size, but his strike out rate is down considerably which isn’t good.

Some how you blame him for players not hitting.

I was only watching bits and pieces. Was the home plate ump as bad for the Rays as he was on a few of the calls (notably, Bregman and Diaz) against the Astros?

Not at all look at my previous posts to those saying "we don't deserve the playoffs " low scoring games happen in baseball.
You have to admit that Dusty has been managing since the 1800s and this stuff has always plagued him.

I don’t think you understand. If you ignore all the decisions he makes that do that work out (because of course anyone would make them), and only focus on the ones that don’t it proves Dusty is a terrible manager.
