Lowrie had 2 hits last night so what does Hinch do? Of course sit him. I am so tired of Hinch doing that again and again and again

i'd play lowrie in ~70% of the games going forward. Yeah we're in a pennant race, but we also want to do well in the playoffs and are currently in the driver's seat. If we were 4 games back, I'd say yeah play him everyday until Springer is back for sure. All about balancing risk vs. scenario for me

That's cool. Rasmus is an outstanding 3rd/4th OFer. His defense has won games this year, and his bat hasn't been a detriment.

Is current post-DL Lowrie any better? Is historical Lowrie any better? Don't get me wrong, I want him and Marwin (until he cools off) manning the corners pretty much every game.

At least Gattis gave us a long AB. More productive than 99% of the ABs tonight.

I understand your view. This is just frustrating to watch. A lot of the guys in the lineup playing most of the time right now are just not good enough.

Welp, lucky we split the series. The batters are w-e-a-k.

Something needs to be done with regards to the offense. I don't care about the season statistics, these ace types are the SPs we would be facing in the playoffs if we are able to get there.

Not one of our hitters has looked competent tonight and I honestly do not think Archer has located his pitches perfectly at all.

Yeah, I'm afraid this is pretty much the crux of the problem.

This could turn into a bad home stand with the pitching the team will have to face against the Dodgers.

Next year when the hill is gone, that might have been a hit for Gattis (off the wall perhaps).
