Before the game Berman and the guys said the Texans are the 3rd biggest disappointment after the Cowboys and Vikings. Steve Young said the team had tremendous talent. It is obvious what is the problem. Now it's time for Bob to fix it.
Guys we now have the same record as the 49ers who started the season 0-5. Such a disappointing season
Well, that's what finishing last in the division is supposed to do. You get to play the other teams that finished last in their division. So we should have Buffalo, Denver, and Cincinnati on our schedule last year if we finish behind the Titans. Edit: If we finish last, our out of division schedule should look like this. HOME Cleveland Pittsburgh Atlanta Carolina Denver AWAY Baltimore Cincinnati New Orleans Tampa Bay Buffalo We face all the teams from the AFC North and NFC South. Finishing last means we face Denver and Buffalo instead of one of the other teams in those divisions. We'd play Denver instead of Oakland/KC/San Diego and Buffalo instead of Miami or the Jets.
What the Texans did to the Raven's D in the 4th should be illegal. That was just amazing. The D looked like it was about to pass out. They showed one guy pouring water on his head after the Texans TD, and he was RED from exhaustion, then they should another Raven Defender getting an IV lol. Schaub was amazing in the 4th. but damn....it had to end in OT with an INT....they seemed like they were still in 2 min mode. They forgot they had Foster. Although, I do like their 2min drill better than the 1st half drill. Man that one hurts. Might have been the most exciting loss I've ever seen.
I just don't know what to think of this team. I might be jumping on the time for a new coach wagon. Not sure yet. Oh well, whatever makes this team live up to its hype next season. What a let down of a season, and my first Texans game ever (xmas gift from my gf) when I make it down to Houston (Jan 2nd)....last game of the season...is going to be a pointless one. FML.
Poorly Coached? YES Less Talented? NO On Defense? YES On Offense? - I think the Texans had the Better QB, Better RB and Better WR Flacco was on his back 5 times. . so I cannot say their OL was that much better NO . . the myth of the Texans being OUT TALENTED must go! That is nothing but an excuse to excuse Kubiak [not saying you doing it] He Coaches them DOWN not UP! The Talent is there . . .. the coaching is not! The talent here is at lest 8-5 not 5-8!!! Rocket River
LOL, somebody said SHOULD we tank...is it really a choice at this point? @ Ten, @ Den and v Jax....The way we've blown the last six losses, and I don't see any 3rd string QB's on the schedule...might be good for a 5-7 first round pick...fingers crossed. Let's get us a lockdown corner! Also, I believe VY would play a lot better in Houston for some reason. Should we try like a 3rd round pick and possibly another later round pick for him? Thoughts??
We need a actual cover safety and a DT capable of collapsing the pocket. I promise if we get those two things the Corner play won't look so horrible.
I think one person's coach put them in a position to win the other put him in the position to lose! Rocket River 62 passes????
Flacco didn't have to go up against the Ravens defense. I'm fairly certain that if Schaub was throwing to AJ, defended by Kareem Jackson, that he'd have had a better game. But if you want to talk stats, Schaub is ahead it almost every statistical category on the season.
