*looking for the bright side* at least the big name coaches can look at this team and see the talent is there
I just don't understand it. You weren't running out of time any more, the Ravens D had a chance to catch it's breath, you were backed up against your own endzone, Foster is gashing them at 5 yards per, Schaub has already thrown for like 60 attempts....and that's how you start OT? Just ****ing PLAY SMART FOOTBALL. Is that really too much to ask? Is that really that hard?
Can we please play one full ****ing game of football? Why the **** do we have to always wait until the second half to start playing like we give a ****?
Exactly. And thats the head coach's fault. You have to be able to show up BOTH HALVES. That's what separates the good teams from the bad.
Hopefully, Gruden had a "undisclosed job interview" with Mr. McNair while he was in town to cover this game.
Well, shock value my friend...it appears that is the only way to get Bob to react and that isn't even guaranteed.
I think I should Clarify. . . . Offensive Play Calling. I think these moments of Stagnation or disintegration come at the most inopportune times. Sorry Donny ,.. . this is the Rocket River Rant to Fire Kubiak It may not be overly conherent! Rocket River
All we need now is a Coach Ed Peterson after the game interview. During the season when the Oilers went 0 and forever, his interviews were classic. And I think Bob Allen did them. He was twelve at the time.
If Jacoby Jones had the ability to change the orientation of the field in the direction he is running... Never mind. Most snake-bitten and most tactically inept team that I have had the misfortune of watching.
Dear Gary, Stop being so f***ing predictable in the first half. Run first down, play action pass second down (incomplete), end up with 3rd and long. The offense gets no rhythm and it's no wonder the defense is bottom of the barrel -- they stay on the field the whole first half. I know our defense sucks, but the only thing that sucks worse is our "scripted" bull**** we trot out on offense in the first half. There is absolutely no way to be balanced and set a good tone for the game. Then we come out in the 2nd half unscripted and go off as usual. Go figure. FIGURE IT OUT GARY. Why can't you see this? Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Plenty of time, close to your endzone, run the freakin ball. This loss was in no way Schaub's fault, I think a lot of people here knew with our play calling there was a chance for an interception. Low and behold.
