Rosenfels starts looking skiddish like every other QB that has ever played for an extended period behind this o-line.

    Its contagious.

Defensive coaches will be gone this year. And if we're still at the same stage this time next year, Kubes will join them in the unemployment line.

I wouldn't count out Kubes being gone at the end of the year. We'll have to pull some upsets not to lose at least 10 games.

i'd normally agree...but not with mcnair. i'd be shocked if he pulled the plug on kubiak.

and i think 10 losses are coming.

That's more the power of the NFL than anything (which is 10x even more powerful now than when the Oilers left)... and there's still at least 65,000 people in this town who knew what a mistake it was to lose the NFL in the first place.

And baseball is almost entirely because of Minute Maid Park. Had they built a lesser stadium in a different part of town... they continue the "tradition."

The Rockets are the perfect example of the typical Houstonian following that still permeates this relatively young sports city. They will only sellout the big games... the atmosphere is deader than dead there (even though its a brand new, fan-friendly arena)... and suprisingly, they're the one team we have that's more on the cusp of winning than any of the others. The fact that they haven't won anything significant since 1997 is the reason why fans will have apathy (despite this being a very enteraining team)... until they win.

you can write that off fan support in other towns too. great ballparks...the power of the nfl...that can be said of lots of places. virtually every ballpark in baseball now is some historical landmark or a bright new shiny attraction.

the bottom line is....they do well at the gate for both, despite the losses.

i can write off the problems with rockets attendance on the nba as well.

****ing Rosenfelds, lol. All you can do is simply laugh. It's either laugh or hanging yourself via very durable rope.

I don't think 6-10 get's him fired. Maybe if we lose out or go 4-12 and even then I'm not so sure McNair doesn't give him 1 more year.

    Dear Sage,

I hate you. I don't know why I ever wanted to be with you again. You'll never change.

Is it too early to start taking knees? At the very least we should start running the ball again to go ahead and get the game over with.

How does Rosenfels want to be remembered? What kind of quarterback does he want to be?

Well Kubiak, I think you've got your answer today.
