    Luis Castillo
    Josh Hader
    Juan Soto

With hindsight, considering he signed a team friendly extension, Luis Castillo would’ve been a great add, although I’m not sure Houston could’ve put together a package to beat Seattle’s.

Soto is one of the best non-rental players ever traded, but Houston could not compete with the package the Padres gave up.

I wanted Josh Bell over Mancini, but he didn’t do much for the Padres.

Might be a good time to call up the White Sox for a bat or 2 .. They're waving the white flag..

Those would have been nice but I don't think there was anything we could have done to get those. I wanted Bell too (wanted him over Abreu during the offseason as well) but wasn't it a complete suprise when he was included with Soto?

Yes, there was no way Houston was getting Soto or Bell but they probably could’ve figured out a way to get Hader. Who knows if it would have been a good deal or not.

Can Altuve and Yordan Alvarez stay Healthy productive.

Michael Brantley is a Bench Coach at this Point. $12 million was really stolen. Worst deal ever by Bagwell and Jim Crane

Michael Brantley, Rafael Montero, Jose Abreu over Justin Verlander, Yuli Gurriel

I'm sure there is a trade deadline 2022 thread on here someplace.

And reportedly Crane was disappointed that Click didn't not bring in my impactful, or at least higher profile players.

Does no one else see through this bullish!t? Not only did Click trade for Mancini and Vazquez, he had a trade lined up for Contreras. Nvm we won the damn World Series! What is everyone’s definition of “aggressive” here?

I think it’s high time we acknowledge that Crane simply didn’t like Click and probably vice versa and that’s why he wasn’t retained. Unfortunately that brought us the infamous Crane-Baggy off-season we’ve grown oh so fond of lately.

    I'm not making this up.

Crane wanted Click to make high profile, splash moves like Luhnow did but he failed.

Now Crane is wanting the same of Brown.

We're you even here this time last year?

    1 down
    3 to go

Did anybody else have Graveman on their list besides me?

Just as important as the Graveman acquisition is, the other half of that is letting Corey Lee go. Opening up the most definite takeover at catcher for Diaz for the next SEVERAL years.
