I think the cult of Maldonado is absurd and believe he gets a bunch of credit for a staff that would be very very very good with anyone back there. I really wish he was scramblers caddy right now. All that said- he’s actually been pretty damn good with the bat the last 6 weeks and I refuse to sweat 1 shitty hitter in the lineup in the 9 hole.
I know you were being sarcastic- just used that as a jumping off point to talk about Maldy’s bat recently.

I honestly have no clue what goes on in Dusty’s brain. His lineup moves literally defy reason. When the bases were loaded and Yuli was up sure af seemes like a better time to PH Mancini. If you’re going to bring Diaz off the bench anyways why wouldn’t you start him over Dubon??

I get rest days but it’s like Dusty is adverse to simply fielding the best lineup more days than not. It’s like he purposely makes this a lot harder than it has to be.
