Yep. It was me. He was worthless until the very end of last season. Tampa obviously saw something in him and they are the best low budget talent evaluators in the the league.

 

Raley was pretty bad early last year.

 

You'd have been OK with Raley being the Astros 10th highest paid player and 3rd among relievers at 10 million guaranteed over 2 years?

 

I think Raley is also the type of guy (pretty much all LHRP with strong splits) who is a loser from the new 3 batter rule. But, the rules are the rules (even if I don't like it). I remember a few times where he couldn't get his lefty out and then ran into trouble.

 

Chance to pick up 1.5 games on the jankees today.

 

White Sox sweep the double header! Any day the Yankees lose is a good one, losing twice makes it twice as good!

 

As an added bonus the dodgers also lost on a walk off error.

 

Only thing that could have made it better is if the Angels lost too.
