After 10 mostly good pitches I leave Javi in, which means Dusty's putting in Raley.

Dusty now bringing in Raley purely for lefty-lefty is taking a Dusty move to the extreme!

 

We know Click at the ballpark today… he must be behind this wicked turn of bullpen decision events!

He did close out that extra inning game in Cleveland last appearance (Dusty analytics).

 

I was not expecting this. Javier with another High Leverage appearance with men on base. Now strands 4 of 5 inherited runners in two appearances. Maybe we already have the relief pitcher we were wanting in a deadline deal?

I was hesitant because he had a tendency to get into trouble before working his way out as a starter.

 

If Javier gets Gallo here, let him go one more? Pressly threw more than an average amount of pitches yesterday…

Give me a crooked number in the bottom of the inning and Raley can pitch whenever Dusty wants.

 

This is exactly how the Christian Javier experiment can be a huge win…. Bring him in the 6th or 7th, and let him go till he messes up.

 

I would and possibly even allow him to allow at least 1 base runner on. If 2 gets on, take him out.
