Maybe because of his speed but McCormick is supposed to have good speed as well. Obviously not as fast but how much of Straw's speed is changing the outcome of the game? Yeah he scored the other day on a wild pitch to win the game but would McCormick been able to do the same?
Damn Twins. A's take the lead in the 9th. Looks like Donaldson had an error to allow a runner to advance to 3rd. Then the pitcher had wild pitch to allow the runner on 3rd to score.
...and the Twins are just Twinning the **** out of the top-9 1 out single, comebacker to the pitcher should be easy DP, Donaldson completely flubs the throw at 2B, as the ball goes into CF, Donaldson stands there and inspects his glove for holes, nope no holes there Josh. 1st and 3rd, 1 out. Pitcher gets Chapman down 1-2 and promptly spikes slider in the dirt, Chapman goes around for strike 3 but the ball goes to the backstop...WP, run scores. 7-6 A's, going to the bottom 9
13-4 against sub.500 teams (9-1 against Detroit and Minny), 10-4 in 1 run games. Stros are 9-8 and 4-5.
They dug themselves into a deep hold to start the season. They started off 1-7 with a -40 run differential lol
As someone that is involved in most of our games its a hard habit to break, 90% of the games are at night so usually 1-2 "good luck tonights" slip through.
And their run differential is +32 in that span. So, that answers the question as to how they are 25-17 with a -8 run differential.
