He's more likely to lose sharpness with 3+ days off vs. being rejuvenated.... unless he's nursing something that the team hasn't disclosed.
Some of them granted are on the weekends but I just enjoy night games more and I will miss some as well.
Me too, except those west coast games are even worse now that we are in Florida. Glad I can sleep in.
I was wondering about Pressly too when Harris got the ball in the 8th. Were they saving Pressly for the ninth? Was he hurt? Apparently, he got the weekend off per today's Chronicle:
Thanks. Guess it is just rest... with some clairvoyant foresight given that James is likely to miss some time now. I’m sure Ryan has a good routine where he can stay sharp... and I was glad to see Harris come through in some pretty high leverage spots. Hopefully his conditioning has improved enough to sustain his stamina through the entire season.
#LoadMangement Re: Harris, he does seem to get unlucky at times with balls in play. Having said that, he doesn't help himself when he misses the zone and puts himself behind in the counts. He was flirting with disaster falling behind 3-0 to Mazara in the 8th with two on and Gallo on-deck yesterday afternoon.
I've gotten quickly to the point of being ready to add the bed and breakfast in the kitchen commercial to the list.
