the last time altuve missed a stretch of games was when he had that hamstring and was out for 8 days? but still got 200 hits. Please heal! Some magic futbol spray should do the trick.
Tyler White not in the lineup tonight for Fresno, gotta imagine its because hes on a flight to Houston.
I understand that we are spoiled, but it’s getting exhausting watching the same handful of AAAA players take turns disappointing us.
Looking forward to seeing Maldonado call a game. Hopefully he won't be shaken off as much as Stassi gets shaken off. Reddick struggles to hit like he did in the World Series - can't believe Luhnow signed him through 2020 for $13MM a year. Do we actually have a hitting coach? If so does he have good strategies and advice for the hitters? Good news? Mariners and the A's are currently losing tonight - both are in the 6th inning.
Stros have lost 3 in a row only 3 times this year, and have yet to be swept in a series. So of course the first time is going to be the ****ing Rangers at MMP.
Still hoping for Realmuto. Stassi has been just pathetic at the plate lately, and I feel like our pitchers (especially McCullers) REALLY don't like him. I know the Marlins want to rebuild around Realmuto, but he'll be 31 or so once they finally start to compete, and may start to regress. Castro and Dietrich seem like better rebuilding centerpieces. And with Maldonado, Stassi is expendable. Hopefully Maldonado is good and we can extend him for 2 years or so as out #2 catcher. A Realmuto/Maldonado catching duo would be AWESOME for the next two years. After, a lefty reliever and a left handed bat. Wish Moustakas was still available, he'd help, bats left handed, has playoff experience, and is just a rental.
I would love to have Moustakas. Unfortunately he plays 3rd base like Bregman. He will be an UFA in 2019. I wonder if Moustakas could play 1st base.
