The poor offensive performance in home games is baffling and frustrating. Also, Fisher has been swinging it lately and yet Gattis is in the lineup instead.
If there was someone in AAA that the Astros brain trust believed would help us, they would already be up here. Tucker and Alvarez aren’t ready yet and the Astros aren’t eating Gattis or Sipps contracts.
How do we know he is the truth? Bringing him up to be the 'savior' with the offense struggling would seem to be putting a lot of pressure on him.
If this team could just score at least 2 runs on most nights they would have at least 5-6 more wins. Verlander could get another loss which is ridiculous after giving up only 1 run again.
People are saying the Forest Whitley kid is the truth .. And they're saying he could be brought up before the end of the year.(long shot but possible) ... So why not our highest rated batting prospect?
We need yuli here. This series feels bigger than it is. Rockets are off till monday, its friday night, and minute maid park is packed vs our dallas (arlington) rivals. A clutch win here would be a good moment for houston.
