I'll buy a Martes jersey tonight if he throws the ball at Odors face.

    That breaking ball.... goodness.

If he can have the kind of control he's having right now for the most part, he definitey has the stuff. 97-98 with a sharp breaker, I love what I see.

Even if it causes him to be stubborn and get sloppy mechanics... I kinda like Martes' "I don't give a **** about you" attitude.

The best pitchers in the history of this game had ridiculous mean streaks. The best pitchers in Astros' history are no exception. The best pitchers on the current Astros also are no exception (Dallas and LMJ).

I just want to chime in and say **** the Rangers.

If we get swept I'll hear it all weekend. I don't want that.

McCann almost got thrown out on a 6-hopper from CF that was supposed to be caught by the 2B.

Good on AJ for giving him the green light there. Just missed it.

Me either. Let the rook take a pitch there. Glad to see Fisher finally though.

I don't have a with that. You have Jake on deck, let the kid give it a rip.

Edit - What a smart play by Beltre. I bet most 3b charge that ball.

The way he was pitching, it looked like a ball. 3-1 I would have went all in. It'
Don't think it was a strike. He could have just walked. He's a huge threat on base.

It's not LL. There's not a hard "take" in that situation.

It's his first AB in the majors with a pitcher having problems locating. I didn't like the green light there. Kind of killed the inning.

That was an outstanding play by Beltre. Not many guys would have had the awareness to do that.

I like the green light to Fisher. 3-0, no outs, runner on first and second... give him a shot there.

Really liking Martes' pace so far. Ready to go and pounding the strike zone.
