Congrats to Wags... mlbbowman Wagner records 3Ks in perfect 9th to become the fifth pitcher (second left-hander) to record 400 saves. His first came on June 14, 1996
Opening up the lead a bit.... but in this park, with this Astros team, and with the Rangers, a win isn't quite a lock just yet.
Yup, always finding creative ways to lose lol Good to see Chris have a good night, just hope it is truly just nerves and he will get more comfortable at 3rd.
Chirs Johnson need to play the field much better, but its great to see him perform offensively. We really haven't had anything better at 3B since Ensberg forgot how to swing and switched to his 37th different stance.
4-for-5 for CJ. The countdown til his first walk of the season is still in effect. If you can't draw walks and have an average at best glove at 3B, you better be hitting somewhere real close to .300 and showing a good amount of pop if you wanna stick at this level. Not just for CJ but any 3B.
Navarro was ruled to have dropped an infield pop up but it looked like he was trying to transfer the ball to throw it. Still, gotta secure the ball better. It was close and hard to judge.
Good to see Chris Johnson doing well at the plate. But he has made 3 errors in 3 games since the call up. I know he was consider below average defensively, but is he this bad?
LOL! Gotta love seeing the Cubbies imploding. Did anyone catch the tirade by Zambrano going off on Lee? Dude is suspended indefinetly. Hilarious stuff. Any season the Cubs suck.....is a good one. <object width="384" height="216" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" id="ESPN_VIDEO" data="http://espn.go.com/videohub/player/embed.swf" allowScriptAccess="always" allowNetworking="all"><param name="movie" value="http://espn.go.com/videohub/player/embed.swf" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/><param name="wmode" value="opaque"/><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"/><param name="allowNetworking" value="all"/><param name="flashVars" value="id=5329617"/></object>
Watching Banks nibble hitters to death with those 85 mph shoulder high fastballs is painful. It's like Chinese water torture. He's on a pace to hit 100 pitches after four innings.
I have never heard of this guy Banks before but I only watched the 1st inning of the game today and I knew that he was going to get rocked on the mound.
