That was BS. I mean a BS... for Lindstrom. Oh well, the results are starting to catch up to some of his peripherals.
Indeed, his ERA is due to balloon. It's tough to be successful when allowing as many baserunners as he does.
That isn't a bad thing. More reason to unload the veterans and rebuild this team. Also, one step closer to Anthony Rendon or Matt Purke in the 2011 draft.
Does anyone realize there is a game going on? There isn't even a thread on the series, but since this is still on the first page I figured I would post here. Tons of speed in the OF tonight.
I'm actually kind of excited to watch the next in our long line of Padres AAAA castoffs pitch tomorrow. But tonight? I mean, I understand why the Astros have Moehler, but at this point I really have a hard time working myself up to wanting to watch one of his starts.
To go with him not running hard to 1st on the final out the other day only to see Sandoval bobble the ball and not make it in time. I guess I dont' blame him but he kind of looks like he doesn't give a you know what these days. Probably wants out that kind of attitude ain't what we need with the young guys around, if that is how he feels.
CJ sucking it up at 3rd... how many errors is that already for him? At least 3 and Feliz started one game.
Yea looks like he might have to hit really really well to justify being out there because that "D" has been STINKY.
The thing is, he's a good athlete with a good arm... I wonder how much is nerves and mental vs. just not being a good third baseman... One thing is for sure, he should get at least all of this season to help answer that question. No point in playing Feliz much if he does stick around.
Good game tonight, Blum coming through however that baserunning blunder might end up being huge tonight.
