Yea. They are not winning 129 games. I don’t follow a ton of baseball but can you tell me what other players I can watch that have jacked 3 homeruns and won 2 games with a 2.08 ERA in 8 games he has played? Point is Angels may not fade as much as originally thought. On paper we are better. So far we are not showing it offensively. Starting pitching is great though. Well aside from Keuchal.
On April 14th last year, the best two records in the AL were the 7-2 Orioles and 7-3 Tigers. In the NL, you had the 7-4 D-Backs, Mets, and Reds. 3 of those teams finished last in their divisions, and another finished 2nd to last. In other words, you are an idiot.
You follow so much baseball and you already know how many wins the Angels and Astros will end up with this year. Go ahead and give us the full year-end MLB standings just for fun.
OK, I will expound. You are a clueless idiot who panics of the most insanely stupid things and has no understanding of a baseball season. Better?
Where is the panic in finding today's loss unfortunate? Where is the wisdom in your apathy towards bad play?
As to whether I'm a) clueless b) an idiot c) insane d) panicking I'll let the board chime in. Probably, the majority sentiment is that you're a douchebag Troll. Literally half of your recent posts are troll posts. My posting history speaks for its own tastefulness and merit.
Always annoying to lose to those pricks, especially in that fashion, but it's a mid-April game. Shrug it off
Ehh.. not that worried. The lineup looks way better with Yuli in it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gattis get an oblique strain or something to get on the DL. Maybe give Tyler White some ABs at DH or something. It can't be much worse.. or how about Brian McCann at DH when he isn't starting? Gattis can be the emergency backup catcher.
Hard to fathom a worse week for a bullpen pitcher than what Peacock just had. Walkoff HR on Wednesday Blows a 3 run lead on Saturday. I still feel he’s a better bridge guy than late inning only guy. If he’s going well on a day he’s the bridge, you could consider leaving him in... but either way, he’s not as effective at all this year, and that’s not going according to plan.
I've never loved Peacock in a traditional relief role. Not that he can't be good, I just don't think his stuff is one inning dominant. Therefore I think we can get better use of him in other ways. I'm really concerned about Gattis at this point. We have 1000 PA of data that suggests he simply doesn't take well to being a DH. His OPS is down around .700 in that role. It doesn't make any logical sense that somebody should be better crouching for 9 innings, but the numbers are stark. Despite our slump I highly doubt offense will be a major issue, but it may still be something worth addressing.
If you hit 4 HRs in a game, you deserve to win. Just like hitting more 3pts in a game, you deserve to win. Altuve is shining today, Jose can I see.
Dont know but wasnt this the same guy that said the Astros fans confidence was "laughable" last year?
Yeah...no. The majority of the board has a lot of respect for @Major as he's been a long time poster here who almost always has a well thought out take. You've been here for like 3 minutes. He's the complete opposite of a troll here...whereas the one that's been a member since last week might be seen otherwise.
