It all makes sense now. Kubiak thinks that the opposing defenses would think that Kubiak would change up his playcalling so to try and catch them by surprise he doesn't change his playcalling.

We have become the new Dallas Cowboys or NY Jets of the NFL. All drama and no actual on field production to back it up...
High expectations lead to high bashing when ends are not meant. That is what's happening right now, especially because Houston is a crazy NFL fan zone. I don't think, heck I'm probably 100% sure the fans were NOT cheering BECAUSE Matt got injured, but because finally a change will be coming at the QB spot BECAUSE he got injured. It's a different correlation of the two, if you can understand what I'm saying. Basically Kubiak's decision isn't so tough anymore? I don't know. I'm still disappointed that Yates is the backup, which means Keenum has little chances at playing unless TJ gets injured? I don't know, I could be wrong.... I just know, that we Houston fans are classy and wouldn't ever cheer an injury to anyone on our or the opposing team... especially our starting QB, regardless of how crappy and detrimental he's been playing these past few weeks for his team mates and his teams city.
The Chiefs pass rush was all over Terrelle Pryor today. It was ugly, but at least he was able to turn up field a few times and make lemonade. The thought of Schaub or Yates in that situation is scary. Actually, it is for Case too but he would at least have a chance.
The best thing about starting Case is he's good for one game. Look, every QB is good for that one game where the defense has no idea what the QB is capable of or his tendencies. No one has tape on Keenum, and preaseason tape doesn't count.

^^^ those are interesting and devastating stats FWIW AJ has reinvented himself as a better version of Bolden, able to out muscle guys but not a monster deep threat. Now that could be because of Schaub's limitations or because AJ is getting older or a combination.
