Gotta admit it's funny to see Bobby always getting so defensive trying to prove that he wasn't wrong on Watson, as if it's going to improve his dismal reputation on this forum. Newsflash, people would actually take him more seriously if he just admitted that he had a poor & incorrect evaluation of Watson. Let's also not pretend like he didn't harp on Watson's weaknesses while downplaying his strengths as a player all offseason long last year, because what I was saying all last year was how Watson's work ethic and coach-ability was going to ensure that he was going to improve as a player.
Dude, just cut it out. You always call people “kiddos” or “children”, implying you are a wise sage. I’ve seen mature adults, I consider myself one. If you are one, stop hurling personal insults at people and continuing meaningless drivel discussion. I understand you think it’s tit for tat, but only kids engage in that. Grow up and just let things go. Admit mistakes. You continually ruin this forum with your personal agenda and battles. This is the game forum, people come to it to talk about the game and read meaningful analysis from other posters about the GAME. Take this nonsense elsewhere.
Look guy, if you want to whine about how a guy intentionally trolled the forum to get simpletons like Scarface and TheRealist going in order to derail the thread, that's fine I guess, but it's got nothing to do with me. Personally I also find it annoying that Htownballer chose to do that to a thread that was productive and on topic up until that point but what can you do? I guess he thought it would be funny to derail the thread by trolling and those other 2 just can't help themselves. Again, if you want the thread to get back on topic, you are talking to the wrong person because I have nothing to do with it being off topic to begin with.
Yeah I really did, and I saw it for myself even in last year's preseason. I'm not sure why you are against giving Watson credit for the tremendous amount of work he put in to fix the flaws in his game, you'd prefer to pretend like they never existed. IMO that's incredibly disrespectful. Anyway, you know better than this, so I consider this nothing but trolling so let's move on.

Over the weekend I checked in on this thread from an ipad that I had not signed in on, so i was able to see posts of ignored members. I don't know how you guys don't have that guy blocked. It was completely unreadable. Repeated and consecutive posting to the point of mania (he even replied to one of his own posts), plus there is simply nothing of value said. Do yourself, and the rest of the board, a favor and ignore.
Part of the game for sure. But there have been a lot of studies on proper hydration and concussions, won’t pretend that I know a lot on it but it sticks out when you have 5 players put in concussion protocol after week 1 last year, another 2-3 throughout the season (1 highly publicized), a retirement due to concussions, and then another 2 after the 2nd preseason game.
As good as Davenport has been at LT, I think he's looking at competing for RT, but this is good news.
We still have 2 practice games left so we could see what Rankins has to offer and if he works out we could move Davenport to the right side and help ease the burden of a second year player. I do think Davenport is more than capable of holding down the LT position though. Henderson needs to be demoted to a backup guard.
By putting the burden on a rookie who will have 2 practices to get ready? But agree on Davenport, let him hold down the LT position and have Rankin and Henderson battle it out for PT.
I'm thinking the Rankin will be battling for the swing tackle position at this point. Aside from injury, I don't see how Davenport and Henderson aren't starting week 1.
Whoops, I had it in my head that Rankins was the free agent pickup we signed not a draft pick, confused him with Fulton.
