this x1000. The Patriots had quite a bit of luck early on in that game (calls and bounces) that put them ahead by enough to completely screw the Texans' offensive gameplan. The defense recovered nicely after a bad first half, but the offense absolutely hung them out to dry, and eventually the roof fell in. We may lose, but there is no way this game is a blow out again. Those circumstances simply will not be replicated.
Well no matter who gets the ball first, the Texans need to score a TD on their first drive. That will instill confidence in our team and let the Pats know this will be a 60 minute fight! Secondly, it keeps us within our gameplan; time consuming TD drives. Go down 14-0....you'll have Nantz and Simms talking about the weather for the umpteenth time
I don't think it's wise to give the Pats the ball first at home. If they managed to score, the crowd will be riled up for their defense and our offense will feel even more pressure already playing from behind. I think Kubiak likes to take the ball no matter what so he can try to jump to a lead to take some of the pressure off on both sides of the ball. Obviously hasn't worked too well lately.
no, why would i do that? i would take no pleasure in taking your money nor giving you mine. i don't know you man. unless your name is dan tanna.
Ladies and gentlemen, the ultimate Texans fan. Willing to take money from his fellow fans while rooting for his own team to fail!
The offensive linemen are the biggest guys on the field, they’re bigger than everybody else, and that’s what makes them the biggest guys on the field. Last time, they didn't give Schaub much time in the pocket and we know he needs perfect blocking so he can be at least an avg qb. Here’s a guy who when he puts his contacts in, he can see better. When your arm gets hit, the ball is not going to go where you want it to. If were really serious about beating the Pats, you gotta have a lot of yards. The best way to gain more yards is advance the ball down the field from the line of scrimmage. If the quaterback throws the ball in the endzone and the Wide Receiver catches it……. It’s a touchdown. We're going to need a lot of those. If this team doesn't put points on the board I don’t see how they can win. Whenever you talk about a Bill Belichick offense, you’re always going to be talking about his offense. The New England Patriots have 2 types of plays in their playbook. Passing plays, and running plays Let's hope it doesn't rain this time around! When its raining the field gets wet, then all of a sudden everyone's running slower.
Rabid fans do this. It's called an emotional hedge. IF the Texans lose he won't have to be so distraught because he won $100. It has been proven to prevent suicide in many studies.
BINGO! I'll never commit suicide, but winning $100 sure will ease the pain. Conversely, I would gladly pay $100 if it meant a win on Sunday. I win in both scenarios .

Charlie P just made a comment that Kubiak wouldn't address how Garrett Graham is...apparently they don't have to disclose that until Wednesday. After that big hit he took I was worried he might of had another concussion....hopefully it's just me being paranoid.
Jacoby Jones - not good enough Trindon Holliday - not good enough Keshawn Martin - not good enough Hey Kubiak, maybe it's the damn special teams coach.
I rather have Martin back there. Just give him 5 simple instructions. 1. Catch the ball. 2. Catch the ball. 3. Go straight. 4. Run into the back of your teammate . 5. Fall down.
that would still be on the special team's coach. That seems to be what he has been doing. Wonder why they decided to switch it up.
Daniel Manning has been very good at returning kicks in his career. They didn't do it in the regular season to avoid injury to a key defensive player. I believe he returned kicks in the playoffs last year as well.
The Pats have been in the 20s (or less) 6 times this season. It's not easy to do, but it's not inconceivable. Teams that have accomplished that feat were the Cardinals (17th in scoring defense), Seahawks (1st), Jets (20th), Miami - twice (7th), and Jacksonville (29th). The Texans are 9th in scoring defense and have held teams to below thirty 13 times this season. I don't know what the likelihood is, but it's certainly not out of the question. I wouldn't be surprised.
