Remember, no PBP in these threads and keep the chatter on topic (if it is about something other than this series, talk about it in another thread). 7-21 John Van Benschoten, RHP (1-2, vs. Runelvys Hernandez, RHP (0-3, 10.29) 7:05 on FSN 7-22 Paul Maholm, LHP (6-6, 4.10) vs. Jack Cassel, RHP (1-0, 6.28) 7:05 on FSN 7-23 Ian Snell, RHP (3-8, 5.83) vs. Brian Moehler, RHP (5-4, 4.03) 1:05 on FSN
That first pitching matchup is a nightmare. Neither one of those guys belong remotely close to a major league mound, unless they're raking it.
The time is now... WWW and I really do mean this...If we can beat the Cubs, we can beat the Pirates... Go Stros!!!
Vegas over/under for tonights game is 10.5. The Bucs couldn't score in Colorado, but Nady is back after missing a few games. It could get ugly, for both teams. I guess it already has.
If betting the over is that obvious I guess it's time to take the under... Where in Pittsburgh are you from? I've probably asked you this before but there's a couple other guys from these parts on here and I get them confused.
fixed If they want any chance to make a run at the Wild Card...heck even just to make a run at a .500 season...they have to beat these teams like crazy. No more of these 2-1 games. There is no reason they shouldn't absolutely pound Van Benschote, Snell, and Maholm.
For the love of God, let's win a series against the Pirates, lol. I'd say 2 out of 3 at least, perhaps 4 if we play our cards right.
This is just maddening. What is even more unbelievable is that when it was clear that Valverde didn't have it tonight, Coop just hung him out there to freaking dry.
