But scoring only 2 runs at home in a 3-game sweep is okay?

Being overly positive is a great way to vent ;) I'm trying something different.

We had the largest crowd in MMP history (including post season) opening night. That is something to be proud of.

    Bring on Pujols!

Dont' worry Borokowski we aren't writing the Astros off. I agree Lidge's stuff is outstanding. He's great.

Wait. Purpura is coming up. AWESOME!

Well I think the only consolation is that this team can't get much worse...I hope. Baserunning miscues, defensive errors, poor situational hitting, bullpen issues, almost zero production from the middle of the lineup. They're gonna play better than this and once they do they'll start winning. If just Berkman and Lee had provided more offense this series, which everyone knows will happen sooner than later, we could have easily swept the series. So no big cause for alarm, but very deflating nonetheless.

    Surprisingly, I'm not that upset.

But if this was a video game I'd be pissed. "3 errors in the SAME inning. Are you f'ing kidding me? This game is trying to f*** me over. That sh*t just doesn't happen in real life." Then I'd quit and restart the game.

    Oh, forgot.

On a brighter note, Biggio just needs 66 more hits to get to 3000.

Well, we scored more runs than the Cardinals did over the last three days.

Sad part is, Steve Phillips is going to look like a genius for the first couple of weeks, at least he'll do his best to make it seem that way. ....bunghole.

The good news is that we're playing the Cards next who have had a worse start than us. AND Chris Carpenter will miss his start.

Doesn't that mean we have an offensive explosion coming?
