It's not his arm so much, it's that he's getting really, really ****ty reads off the bat & is taking really, really ****ty angles to the ball. Kid takes about 3 wasted steps on any fly ball & doesn't have Willy's speed to make up for it (which Willy did with regularity, the ****ty jumps & the recovery) Every time. Cheo needs to bust out the fungo & work overtime.

    This is so true.

STL fans are the "Best Fans in Baseball" so they tell me. Go read some of their fan forums. It's hilarious. A guy could get rich with a torch & pitchfork or tar & feather concession up there.

umm, not talking about that play. Obviously he wasn't being thrown out from the warning track. Was talking about the play that he could have had a chance at throwing a guy out.. which was the single with a man scoring from 2nd. Burke took an angle going to his left instead of going over and then coming up towards home so that he'd have momentum

Russ Springer and Preston Wilson might be the first to be tarred & feathered. Wilson has a couple of errors today (or should be errors) and Springer has given up 4 runs in 1/3rd of an inning so far.

If it makes anyone feel better, it looks like the Cards will soon be 0-3 with 2 total runs scored after 3 games.

Burke seems to be getting very slow starts in the OF.

Scott Rolen has been their prime whipping boy for the past 3 years or so. Basically anyone not named Pujols or Carpenter - including LaRussa, Walt Jocketty, Dave Duncan, batboys, peanut vendors, you name it - has been needing to be run out of town yesterday.
