Right when I was about to say how disappointed I was that Scott was out, Jason Lane completely redeems himself! :)

Do you think the exact same pitch sequence and exact same contact by Jennings would have been made if Everett was on 3rd?

Yes everything is going to be exactly the same!

The point is we didn't have a chance to get that sacrifice because Brad didn't do his job. I don't know why some people have to take everything so damn literal.

    Yes.

He will either redeem or hang himself. Either way it is good TV.

Time for Lee to get off the 0-fer and earn his money.

There you go Carlos! That makes up for the bullet he hit yesterday that turned into the DP.

It's setting up for Qualls, Wheeler, Lidge.

Smokey, you may get your wish.

    Atta boy Carlos.
We still need a bigger lead 'till it's safe for Lidge to come in.

Im so scared about only having a one run lead going into the 9th. :(

Im not sure if I want Lidge to succeed or fail...and before everyone jumps on me about wanting Lidge to fail...I think the sooner Phil gets the point that Lidge sucks, the better off the team will be. I dont think Lidge will ever be the same again and the quicker he is removed from the closer role, the happier the players, organization, city of Houston, and fans of the Astros around the world will be.

I haven't been able to watch the game and I guess this is more of a general question anway, should we not expect to see Jennings pitch past the 6th inning? His pitch count isn't too high and I would definately prefer continuing to pitch our number two starter over bringing in Qualls. Why did Jennings get yanked?

I hate pitching changes during innings. At least the Pirates AAA bullpen did not strike out Biggio.
