He's getting payed $4 million this year, and the team has an option to pick him up for the next three years at a total of another $24 million. I'm guessing after this year the Astros aren't going to decide that he's worth $8 million a year, or at least I'm praying they're not.

    Well, atleast we're winning.

I'm not watchign this one on tv, but gameday live is showing that Backe is having a very good game so far. No hitter. ......through three.

Oh, and the Pirates pitcher is throwing a hell of a lot of balls. (and walks). Infact, he has more balls than strikes so far.

Is GameCenter correct? Did Craig Biggio just homer on a pitch outside?

What do you guys use to follow the games online?

Do you use something from CBSsportsline, MLB gameday, ESPN etc.?

You guys hate on Wilson....he ground into double plays but he comes through clutch a lot....still no way should he start over Scott when its a righty out there

with the way everett hits he should never miss a play like that. now it looks like it'll lead to a run.

Damn Garner, he is way to concerned with the righty vs. lefty percentages and percentages. There is absolutely no excuse to have Burke is there and especially Wilson. Wilson is probably the worst hitter on the team. You put him in there in favor of friggin' Luke Scott who is destroying people, over .400, hitting with power, getting on base and driving in runs. To hell with him being left handed, big deal. He is on fire and we had a day off yesterday, all he's doing is getting cold. Same with Huff, he has been getting hits and been pounding the ball on his outs. Wilson shouldn't get another start until next year, and Burke has been awful since the all star break.

This is one of those scary games yall...Its just to close and even though this guy is not all that good a pitcher we have only really got one solid hit off of him and that was definately a fan interference hit... :( GO STROS
