is huff aware of the fact that pitchers can throw off-speed pitches? because that's about the 5th 84 mph pitch i've seen him swing through just tonight. hopefully morgan gives us a cushion.
great game -- Rocket, playoff race -- blah, blah, blah Former 3rd rounder Dave Ragone has thrown INT in the endzone in garbage time
i thougth about making a joke about counting on ensberg in this situation but for some reason i didn't, like i thought he might actually come through. and boy did it barely make it. but it's 3 runs nonetheless.
I love how loud MMP gets. It's so damn exciting. Watching the Rockets play is like watching a highschool basketball game. I went to a Rockets game last winter and it was almost boring. I was just about the only one yelling, oh....and Toronto Blew us out. But the Stros, I love going. Even losses are "fun". The best experience of my life was the Playoff game I went to last year. (game two vs Braves).
Huff's looked bad against lefty pitching... that's for sure. But, you can see the benefit of having Ensberg split up Huff and Scott when we face lefties. Tracy made one move too many... as a result of us having a good lefty-righty-lefty mixed lineup... and Mo made them pay. The fun is back.
