Norris pulled in the 3rd inning??? I know he was struggling but how about working out of trouble, oh well.
You know, the Astros were the only team to get swept in their opening series and as such, are the only winless team in the league. Not surprisingly, they're also last in runs scored and next to last in run differential (probably last after tonight). I wonder how long they're going to be the only team without a win.
Good lord. This team is just.............I don't know what else to say. I willing to bet there are more people at Toyota Center tonight than there are at Minute Maid Park.
Well if they don't beat Moyer manana then they have Halladay and Wainwright the next two nights. I can see 0-7 happen and then still have two games in StLouis and a 3 gamer in Chi-Town...0-12 is a possibility but I have to imagine we will at least win 2 or 3 games.
I'm praying they actually fall 0-12 so that Uncle Moron McLane keep crap in his pants and sees the team burn into nothing.
i'm just glad to see Towles get the opportunity that he has earned so we can see him blossom into the star that we know he will be if he gets 500 or so more AB's.
Who said he was going to be a star? I just defended the fact that he wasn't given the same chance as others. Something tells me you couldn't wait to see J.R. start off bad.
something tells me that i knew he was going to. but i don't want to jump to any conclusions. from what i hear, the rule is you need well over 500 mlb ab's to determine if a player is good or not.
The only pluses i've seen this year are Keppinger looking like he'd be a good fit for the full time position at 2nd base next year and tommy manzella possibly hitting decent enough to stay as our shortstop. Chris Johnson looks like garbage and they seriously need to bench lee and pence for a game for taking terrible hacks this year. It seems like both of those two are taking good pitches and swinging at the bad pitches. I can't wait til castro comes up and gives me 1 reason to justify watching this team.
I love having Mclane sitting behind the homeplate. He looks so calm but you know inside his head he is internally raging.
