Well said mate. Not sure why people have been slating him so much, I think he's pitched really well. If you want to hate on a pitcher, there's plenty of candidates on this staff lol, but Moehler isn't one of them

Wow, I didn't see that coming against Cole Hamels.

On a previous pitch, Lee hit the ump in the head during his backswing. The umpire's head was bleeding so they had to allow for one of the others to gear up to be the replacement home plate umpire.

He hit him on the follow-through not backswing.

Way to give it right back Sampson. Let's take the pressure of Hamels as quickly as possible.

You love the Crawford boxes when the Astros hit a homerun, but you hate them when the opposing team hits one...

    What giveth, it taketh away.....

A few years ago, I heard a study that stated more opposing HRs had been hit in the Crawford boxes than the had Stos hit. I would have think after 8 years it would be pretty even now with maybe even a slight advantage towards the Stros, but that's just a guess.

I have no problem with the HR by Jenkins as it was a decent pitch from Sampson, but what's the killer was the 5 pitch walk to Burrell.

It took less than 2 innings to give up that 3 run cushion.

I don't care how well Hamels swings the bat, he has a 0/9 BB/K ratio. All you have to do is keep it out of the zone and you likely get the strikeout.

Lousy last 2 innings from Sampson.

Opposing pitchers always seem to destroy us in the batters box. Anyone have any stats on this?

I heard a couple of games ago that they were hitting over .300 against us.

    Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

Hamels is an easy strikeout if you keep it out of the zone. He will eventually strikeout. Not that hard to figure out.

    Pathetic.

Why is Nieve pitching in a close game?
