I'll gladly take that trade (Woody giving up 1 run in an inning where he allowed 3 hits.)

Burke's noodle arm actually induced a double play (even though a person with an average arm gets Rollins at the plate).

LOL So I turn on the TV and I say, "Damn Woody is pitching, hasn't given up a home run yet... Burrel is probably going to hit one now."

Two more doubles for Biggio. Five more to tie George Brett for 5th all time.

Holy cow. That was some effort.

If he would have pulled that in, it would have had my vote for play of the year, if not play of the decade.

Phill needs to get somebody up and going in the pen FAST... Wheeler doesn't have much tonight (even though its been awhile since he had to pitch).

Franchise Loss #9995 for the Phillies. Lets help them get to that milestone sooner, rather than later.

Kinda off-topic: I went to high school with Brian Sanches and work with his dad. I'm kinda hoping he gets that 10,000th loss. He could live on in Phillies lore forever.

the season is still not over? :)

can anyone tell me what Miller was doing out there closing the game? i tuned in as he induced that grounder to third. Rollins just missed a 3 run homer.

Wheeler was in the process of blowing a 4-run lead and they had a lefty on deck. Philly pinch hit with a righty and Miller actually got him out.

If that ain't a sign things are turning around, I don't know what is.

In his latest blog, Richard Justice asks, "What if Purpura got it exactly right?" Hilarious. That's going to be in my head every time I watch the Astros, win or lose, what if Purpura got it exactly right?!
