Forget a cig. Try a triple shot of jack daniels with an everclear chaser. LOL. Unbelievable! So many excruciating losses and Lidge is synonymous with triple catatonic death.

Goddam I have tickets to wednesday's afternoon game and was hoping there might be some minute suspence left. With my luck I'll probably draw Buchholz (Clemens is sheduled).

The start of the NBA season can't come soon enough (not into football).

This season is so painful, especially considering the excitement and joy of last season. Rockets basketball can't come soon enough

Sorry to say this ... but this just in this season is so over.

If the Pads win they stretch the lead to 5 1/2 games with 16 to go? Its simple math. 'Stos either run the table and get in by the hair of their chinny chin chin or else see ya.

This team has more holes than swiss cheese and our pitching staff healthwise is a patchwork quilt in progress.

Face it! We're just not good enough. Need Soriano or Carlos Lee in offseason.

If Pup screws up again, I will be one of the first to demand his head on a silver platter.

Please stop starting Biggio. He is hitless in 8 games in a row now. Burke has been swinging a lot better.

Greg Maddux has a no hitter thru 6. At least SD is losing.

He had nothing to do with tonight though, in his defense. :)

Not going to happen this season or next. The Biggio fans want to see him as much as possible. I think they should alternate, on the road his Burke play 2 and Bidge 1 and at home for the fans, Bidge 2 and Burke 1. We need Burke in and we need him getting in practice at 2nd.

You pretty much knew that game would end that way. :(

Well, it was a promising season.

Who would have know, the season that we start out on fire out of the gates would be the season we'd suck. While the season we sucked at the begining was our WORLD SERIES season. hmm.

Tough way to lose tonight, but it really fits our season. I'd love to get back to .500 this season even though it won't mean much

How many players have they called up? Do we have 40 on the roster?

If not, why not? Other teams have called up a LOT of players to help in the stretch run.....

Just a frustrating year overall....can't get the timely hit, and give up the timely hit too often.

The Astros never cease to amaze me this season. They have definitely proven why they don't belong in the playoffs. Their just a below average team with some great players. The fact that their even talking about playoffs when they can't even get to .500 is amazing. Yea...they have to win every game left and have some other teams do nosedives. Let's get real.

Here's hoping to some serious changes for next season's roster. Cheers.

Is anyone else getting the Yankees/Red Sox on Fox right now?

    Yeah, it changed over now.

I knew it hadn't started yet, I just didn't think Fox would interrupt the Yanks/Sox for Astros/Phils.

It's nice to be wrong sometimes.
