You got that right! We work best under pressure. Actually, that's the perfect time to have Backe, too bad he's out.

The 'Stros must start taking better advantage of their opportunities. If and I do mean a BIG if they are to return to the postseason, they must execute their offense much better. That means work pitch counts, do some hit and run, Willie, Chris and maybe Adam need to put pressure on the base paths. You have to throw everything at them. Have to grind baby ... grind. So that's good for Roger. He knows grinding.

Great! The radio guys just said Andy's start has been moved from Sunday to Tuesday. So who pitches Sunday? Wandy? Please no! Wandy is just as bad as Jeriome Robertaon was or Bob "I dont have a clue" Knepper.

Lets try Sampson. He's shown he can pitch. C'mon Phil, give him the nod. But just say no to Wandy.

I have been pulling for Sampson since he first came up this season. I think he's got the stuff. He needs more playing time with us or he will go pitch for someone else and, once again, we give up good pitching.

    Yeah Cami,

I agree. That game vs Rangers 3 hit shutout was just sick. Super effort!

That's the risk of walking Howard, sometimes you'll get burned by others. Just need the bats to be active tonight...

OMG, OMG, OMG, WTF? I am flabbergasted. Am I watching the Red Sox/Yanks game? How did? What? Grand Slam? Wow. We are still in it though, only the first inning. I bet Roger doesn't give up anything else.

My sentiments exactly! No excuses though the 'Stros just have to get it done. No matter what.

    Man Cami,

I know you have been Pro-Mo' but its been the same story mostly all year. He looks at good pitches and doesnt swing the lumber when needs to.

His only threat is walking right now. I wish I was wrong.

Another less than stimulating half-inning by the 'Stros. Willie did his job and no situ-f-in-ational hitting again! WTF!

Agreed! Unfortunately! But this team hasnt played like a playoff contending team basically the whole year. So what else is new?

I have been worrying about what is up with him. My hypothesis is Berry had him either incorporate something or change something and it's throwing him off. If this is the case, he needs to forget it and do whatever Gaetti told him last season.

If Rocket lasts more than 5 innings tonight it will be a miracle! Really scuffling tonite.

It would be nice to see the 'Stros actually pull one out of the fire but I am probably asking for too much, right?

You know what I say ... just swing the damn bat. If you do you have 50% chance, if not 0% chance. Enough said.
