I hope the Astros sweep but I want to see Ryan Howard break the 61 HR mark to be a non-roided HR leader. He was K'n up badly last night. I think the pressure to homer each at bat is getting to him.

How do you know he's not on roids? The tests don't detect everything.

I can't say for sure he's not but I just have a gut feeling that he is just one of the few natural power hitters. Even Maris' family has a feeling that he is a natural hitter. The problem is that I don't think a natural hitter can ever break the 73 mark so I still see 61 as the mark to beat.

Plus I must admit that I have a secondary watch on Philly so I do like most of their players. We went to a spring training game and had the best time. The fans were great. The team was very friendly to the fans. Probably the best game we've ever been to. Everyone was great but Pat Burrell. Pat was on an island that day. The fans didn't like him much and his teammates were distant from him as well - which seemed to feed Pat's ego that he really was better than the rest of us.

Okay, we are getting close to first pitch. Roger will hold down Philly that's almost certain. What we need to run support for the big man. I hope Everett's back as SS because we have a hole there when he's not there. We need Lamb in first, you know Biggio will be at 2nd so that will probably put Burke on the bench unless they put Huff on 3rd, Willy T in CF, Scott in LF and Burke in RF but for some reason I feel like Lane will be in. We shall see.
