I keep hearing people talking about how bad of a OC Godsey. What exactly is wrong with his play calling? No one ever goes into details cause they don't know what they're talking about.

It's not like he's got much to work. Mediocre O-line, no RB, TE, garbage journeyman in hoyer.

You are not going to beat NE with check downs and cute wildcard formations. You need to throw downfeild.

 

Much like most play-callers... he's bad when the plays don't work, and good when they do.

I have no problem with them trying to establish the run... but I do have a problem with gameplans that feature re-runs of gimmicks that are really only effective if the other team has never seen it (the wildcat).
