Lets be real people, like we honestly had a chance to beat the Patriots? Even if they're injured? Not even close with this team and staff.
It was simply a piss poor game plan. They were trying to be too cute from the get go. You can't try to outsmart the Patriots. You have to take the opportunities that they give you...and there were plenty. The Texans did not take advantage of what was there for them.
Looks like we'll have Yates vs. Indy. Hoyer got concussion #2 last night and shouldn't play next week with back to back concussions.
It looked like he got concussed three times. If there is a real protocol, it doesn't look like the Texans followed it
Our o-line looked awful last night. Very discouraging after it seemed like they were really gelling over the past few weeks. Thought a lot of it was penalties and mistakes putting us in bad situations. Of course the Pats taking Nuk out of the equation and Griffin dropping key passes didn't help.
Agreed the first one seemed to be when he was going down and the defender's body hit his head, second one was the head slamming down on the ground.
The Texans coaches aren't doctors so it shouldn't be up to them and thus it's not their fault. This is on the NFL and like always they fack it up. I felt pretty about a W at Indy with a healthy Hoyer and Watt, now I'm not so confident. Looks like Yates and Clowney will have to step it up.
Honestly, I wasn't that impressed with the Pats. I know they're injured but so are we. We had chances even with the terrible offense play and penalties. If Griffin made some tough catches we go into half tied or down 3. Cam and Keuchly would destroy this NE team.
O'brien could help by moving the pocket around, I swear I thought once we got rid of Kubiak we would have some creativity on offense. WRONG - we are stuck in the easy to game plan against mode. DD
newton was awful this game but has been solid all year, shifting all over the place. . It's no coincidence the sacks started happening in the 4th. NE was just sitting on what we were doing, some screen passes would have helped. Outschemed.
sorry for the double post but i'm not over it. can't believe some guy that looks like he should be discussing WOW with us in the hangout is outscheming O'brian and our Offensive Coodinator .
