Hoyer is a nice guy, but he underthrew 2 passes to a wide open Washington for surefire touchdowns. I'm tired of this. Putting Savage on IR was a mistake, would like to see if he has anything. No point in trying to make the playoffs, they will look silly yet again in primetime, and loose out around 6 spots in the draft, and I'm not even going to get into the draft problems. Whew this team is still the same team it's been for ever.
Can't compare sports to regular jobs. In your regular job you should be expecting a 95-100% success rate at meeting the standards of your profession, and not meeting those standards can get you fired. In sports it's humans against humans. 50% will win, 50% will lose. Losing is considered the same as being ineffective when really it's just being extremely effective, effective enough to get you to the pros, but just not as effective as the other team. We always seem to have this high horse stance when it comes to injuries in sports. All the while everyone knows that injuries are an inherent part of the job. And no more so than in football. "Injuries are part of the game." That's almost the motto of the NFL. Yet we always have to root for them not to happen? I was always puzzled by this absurd notion that seems to absolve the fan of all guilt.
They just got throttled by the jags today lol. They beat us when our D was playing hide and seek earlier in the year. If we get the colts without luck next week, I think we win. It sucks watt is playing with one hand though. This loss isn't on our D tonight. Our D has played fairly well. They have had mistakes but that's now why we are losing. Giving the pats the ball in their territory with turnovers and just not being able to do **** with that loser Hoyer back there; is why we are getting embarrassed right now. Not to mention, Newton has literally been the pats ass wipe all night.
I wish we could see some of that fire on the sidelines for the Texans, have only ever seen him mildly agitated
No. Most Sacks, Single Team, Game, 12 Dallas Cowboys (vs Pittsburgh Steelers) Nov 20, 1966 St. Louis Cardinals (vs Baltimore Colts) Oct 26, 1980 Chicago Bears (vs Detroit Lions) Dec 16, 1984 Dallas Cowboys (vs Houston Oilers) Sep 29, 1985 New York Giants (vs Philadelphia Eagles) Sep 30, 2007 Most Combined Sacks (Both Teams), Game, 18 Green Bay Packers (8) vs San Diego Chargers (10), Sept 24, 1978
It's a good point, but for someone to actively root for a player on their team to get hurt is just sick. No matter how you slice it. I understand the differences, but these guys are men with families and lives. You're going to supposedly root for their team to be successful but root for a guy you don't like to be injured? No. That's messed up. So, say Bobby works at McDonalds. That's like him forgetting pickles on my cheeseburger, and then me hoping that his hand falls off so that he can no longer make burgers effectively. Of course, I know he'd never forget my pickles, but that's not the point.
im ****ing tired of seeing this team ****ing suck week in and week out on o brien's ****ty ass coaching.
