I bench Tate this week after his pitiful performance last week and he responds with 2tds in the first half.
Everyone is amp'd up! It's homecoming game! But there is a 2nd half to play. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Texans&src=hash">#Texans</a>' only bigger halftime leads were 21-3 (Colts), 20-3 (Seahawks). Lost both games and scored just three combined second-half points.</p>— Nick Mathews (@Nick_Mathews) <a href="https://twitter.com/Nick_Mathews/statuses/407227127419793408">December 1, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Figures.... A wasted season is when the team plays well against the Patriots. Let's see if the offense disappears in the second half with keenum
i would just like to point out that i didn't see the 1st half but will now be watching the 2nd half. that has been a somewhat recurring feature of the 9 game losing streak. we score and play well in the 1st half, i start watching and suddenly touchdowns are impossible, field goals are rare, and the D usually falls apart or the O and special teams create points for the other team. let's see if the trend continues.
After seeing what the pats did last week, and what we do every week... I'm keeping my excitement down.
