It seems to me that Lin is too concerned or worried about something else beside playing. To be honest, Lin will part away from the Rockets for sure. It is a matter of when and how he is traded by end of his contract. If not traded, he will sure be let go after his contract. While we fan are all speculating when and how Lin will traded or not, the people who know what's going on are the management, the players and the coaching stuff. We can only speculate as outsiders. IMO Lin's number is up and it is a matter of when and how. Like it or not.
Guys,it's just one game. Let's see him do this for the rest of the season, after all he is our starter.
Of course, he wont...next game he will be back to earth...next game his score would be 6 pts for 38 mins...
LOL.. Don't need him to score a lot to be a huge impact... Gotta love how our whole team fed off his energy. Did you see him need to come out of the game because he gave it his all and was gassed? That's the way our whole team needs to play
Glad to have Bev back. The starting unit is now complete. Hopefully they stay injury free for the rest of the season. Lin can now resume his rightful role as bench player and 6th man.
Not surprised Bev returned and immediately had more impact than any other player out there. Players like Beverley are the type that transcend stats and individual numbers. He's the true leader and heart & soul of this team. Can't wait to see him ball out in the playoffs again this year.
Besides he came from injury, he took a month of rest...he should have much energ, the question is, can he maintain that level? Mind you, next game Rockets fans will look for another pg or will blame players if they will loose to Kings
It was great to see Beverley back out there and playing fearlessly. Often times off an injury you'll see a player being a little tentative or favoring the non injured hand/knee/ankle, etc. I didn't see any of that with Pat. I've mentioned it in other posts, but when I watch games I really like to look at things like body language, effort, reaction to mistakes, etc. We'll never know these guys on a level where we can accurately make statements about their personalities but catching the little things can help paint a broad picture. Pat never looked rattled or out of the flow last night. He made some questionable choices but they were very decisive. For example, I wasn't thrilled when he backed up about seven feet to shoot that corner three but it turned out well. We all know shot selection, makes, assists, defense and all those other measurables are important. But I really like those guys that go hard, keep going, and make no bones about it. Like Reggie Miller when he wasn't hitting his jumper. Dude just kept firing and more often than not his shots started falling.
The Rockets play differently when Bev and Parsons are there. It'snot only their individual play. They are more cohesive and in tune with those guys. They're the glue.
This is the reason why Harden wants him instead of Lin because Harden will take majority 0f shots..So if bev isnt useful in defense, he is definitely nothing...Wow Pbev was so huge in saying he didnt do enough to shutdown liliard coz liliard scored 24...as if Lin didnt guard Liliard so well...lols Rockets is really overrating this kid...one good game and he is God now...tralalala
Harden is the Rockets #1 player Bev is the better fit with Harden and at this point probably the better player than Lin overall. Bev makes about 1/20th of what Lin makes and is more valuable to the Rockets given his salary. Also, for the umpteenth time Lillard scored a lot of those points on Lin when Bev was on the bench. But you don't like the facts.....
