Novak is going to set the 3-pt shootout record. Calling it right now.

As far as production/performance goes this season Ricky Rubio doesn't deserve at all to be in the Rising Stars Challenge.

Looks like a solid 3pt contest and a solid dunk contest. Should be fun.

Also, Team Shaq seems really stacked compared to Team Chuck

Chuck has good size and rebounders but virtually no scorers
Beal is the only known scorer

    HOUSTON FTW.

    Former players, Green/White/Novak.
    Current player, Parson/Lin/Harden
Players from the death, Sam and Horry.
    Celeb game: Deke and Clyde.

And who can forget, Kenny The Jet bringing it home.

Now all we need is Yao and Dream to be at the all star event, and Rudy T come out and yell out, DUN EVER UNDERESTIMATE THE HEART OF A CHAMPION!

Either Green or White will use Yao Ming as a prop in one of their Dunks, I'm guessing one of them will jump over Yao for real?

Are they actually having slam dunk judges this year? I HATED the voting for a slam dunk thing last year. That was just stupid.

Terrance Ross, Anderson, Holiday, Team Harden, and Team Chuck are my picks.

The slam dunk contest has turned into the biggest turd of all the events from being one of the biggest spectacles. Ironically, it was in Houston when it took a turn for the worst and they awarded it to nate robinson out of pity.

Then Dwight decided to turn it into a pimp my ride event by adding his r****ded props whic took away from the dunk aspect. Blame yourself for the fact that nobody gives **** about it anymore NBA.

The creativity is what sucked the fun out of the Dunk Contest. Which could also be blamed on lack of star talent.

Most of the time when we had the real stars of the league; MJ, Nique, Kobe, Carter, Francis, etc. it was a show to watch, a true spectacle because these guys were the top athletes in possibly the entire world.

I don't think Dwayne Wade has been in one dunk competition since he was drafted, LeBron sure as hell hasn't. That's 2 of the best not performing in it at all.

When all you have is a bunch of John Starks, Mugsy Bogues, Fred Jones, Derek Mason and Spud Webb's competing against each other it's not as enticing as those guys going up against the best of the best, now this is all you see and it's just mediocre.

I think Dwight helped the contest when he competed, finally brought some originality, instead of seeing the "best of's" same old stuff we'd seen from the winning contestants in years prior.

Bring back the star power and then you'll have yourself a REAL Slam Dunk Contest.
