I guess we were overdue for a game like this. Carolina played really well, with few big mistakes.

Looks like a day of upsets. KC beats the Packers, Tennessee loses to the Colts, Washington beats the Giants. So, we weren't the only bad team today.

It's not over yet. Let's hope the Chargers keep playing well, Tebow really is touched by the hand of god/aliens (insert your belief) and Big Ben's leg falls off:p

Personally hard for me to optimisic. We played bad most of the Bengals game..and all of this game. We need Andre Johnson and Wade Phillips back bad..

How is it hard for you to be optimistic?

We played terribly. Wade will be back and AJ will be back.

There are regular mistakes and then there are mistakes at critical times; the Texans made the latter, and it killed them. The last interception was the game. Had that been a reception for a TD, new game, and I would have liked our chances of another miracle comeback. Nope. Also, the defense looked "ordinary." Got rolled on several drives. The Panthers should have not been able to come to the Texan's house and dominate. A very, very whimpy performance overall. Flashbacks of the "ole Texans" and to make it worse in front of a crowd that came to see "champions" play. They looked like chumps and should be humiliated. Very disappointing. Most likely this screw up will cost them home field in the playoffs. But, since they have a history of laying eggs in their own house, that may not make a difference. This one really stings. Hurry back Wade!

I think if Indy gets the first pick and takes Luck then I don't think Manning will be there next year. I would rather take my chances with Luck and get Manning out of the AFC South.

Certainly not in just a pure one-on-one situation.... but when you combine play-action and bootlegs, you're able to get guys wide open downfield.

Yates had some opportunities today, and didn't make some great throws when he had a chance.

We're not putting points on the board since Schaub went down..not going to cut it in the playoffs.

A bit of a buzzkill after the euphoria last week, but this was a classic letdown/trap game so i'm not stressing, dissappointed yes, but it won't be hard to get past this one. Every team has a few of these.

Games like this shows how important Dre's field stretching ability is, we will get him back. Combine this with losing the turnover battle by 3, which almost always leads to a loss.

Yates is a rookie, regardless of where he was drafted or how good he may or may not be in the future. Rookies always play hot/cold, without exception.

this!! times 10.... i think this is a blessing in disguise.. a rooking QB comes in here an pretty much did what he/his team wanted to... a lot of mistakes on off and def... it's not going to get any easier from here on out... we got 2 of our div rivals to take on the last 2 games... and those are always tough!!! it's time to stop talking about it and BE ABOUT IT!!.. With that being said.. GO Tebow and go Charger!!

Merry Christmas to everyone!! One more week my players!!!

Disagree. We need everyone to be playing at the top of their game and get some momentum going into the playoffs.

Pats may lose today the way Denver has been scoring at this pace. We blew our best chance for a first round bye. Damnit.

Not sure if you understand how tie breakers work but, no this week was not our best chance. It is the best chance we have of the Steelers, Ravens and Pats losing though.

I do know buddy. Pats are losing the Broncos now..Broncos seem to be scoring with ease so far.

THey do need those games, but they also needed a wake up call to get them focused again before the playoffs.

Honestly, how many teams with super long win streaks do you remember making an extended playoff run? I can't think of many.

Also remember, that none of the QB's the Texans face the rest of the season are the running threat of Newton.... unless they face Football Jesus.

Your not my buddy, guy. This was the best game to lose.
