For the record, I think the rule is fine starting the 12th and on. At that point, the last thing any team needs is to throw a starter because they’re out of relief pitchers.

but it is asinine trying to get these games done by the 10th. It’s also not adding to that much excitement. Most of the new fans have stopped watching at this point.
