seriously , I like Raley more than most . But Dusty has been overusing him . we need Taylor back , and unfortunately Emmanuel got hurt . Now that Javier is in the pen isn’t he good vs lefties ? we just need framber and jake to start eating some innings . And hopefully the offense can put up a crooked number and help our guys breeze through outings .
I don't see us stringing a bunch of hits together. We aren't scoring off Darvish unless we get some HRs. Need to work his pitch count with their bullpen being fried.
It's clear from our series against the Dodgers and Padres that our starting rotation + offense is right on par with those two teams. Adding just one high leverage arm to the back of the pen would do such wonders.
Miles Straw has outperformed my expectations this season. He started slow but he's been progressing nicely. Still miss the power of Springer, though.
